About Boucherville Elementary School

Description
Boucherville Elementary School, of the Riverside School Board, is a community school offering an English Program of Study to children living in Boucherville, Varennes and Verchères.

Eligibility (Bill 101)
Only children who qualify for English Education may attend Boucherville Elementary School. Our school secretary will gladly answer any question regarding a child's eligibility for English education.

Programs
Academic Programs
Boucherville Elementary School offers an English Program of Studies and complies with M.E.Q. guidelines for subjects taught. All teachers will be following the new Program of Studies provided by the Ministry of Education.

Enriched French
We offer an enriched French Program from 1.1 to Cycle 3.2. The program focuses on all French competencies.

Computers
The School has a computer lab and computers in every class. The goal is to integrate technology into every part of the curriculum.

Library
We have a well-stocked library. The children visit the library each week and are encouraged to take out books every week. (Students are held responsible for returning their books. Parents will be asked to replace lost or damaged books).

Religious and Moral Education
Students have the choice between Catholic, Protestant Religion or the Moral Education Program. (Please note that for this year only Catholic and Moral instruction will be offered).
