Governing Board

Law 180 established governing boards as the official elected body to aid in the functioning of schools. Our Governing Board consists of 5 parents, 5 staff members and a community representative. The board makes important policy decisions and truly determines the orientation of the school. All parents are welcome to attend Governing Board meetings and may address the Governing Board during the question periods at the beginning and end of each meeting. Meetings are held once a month at 7:00 in the school library. Minutes of Governing Board meetings are public record. Copies are kept in the school's office and may be consulted by parents wishing to do so.
