| Transportation All children who reside
more than 1.6 km from the school are entitled to
bus transportation. Kindergarten children who
reside more than 0.8 km from the school will be
provided transportation. You receive a
transportation schedule from the school board
every year in August. If you have any
questions regarding transportation, please
contact the school.

Stop
allocations
Bus stops are normally at intersections.
Students may be required a maximum of .8 km to
the stop. (.4 for Kindergarten)
Kindergarten children must use regular bus stops
Bus stops are reviewed annually
Alternate
address/Shared custody
Request must be made in writing
Both original and alternate addresses must meet
the requirements for transportation.
Requests will be considered after October 15.
Special
concerns (Changes to bus stops, danger zones
etc..)
All requests for changes must be made in writing.
Please bring issues of concern to the school. We
will fill out the needed forms on your behalf and
send them to the Transportation Department.
Complaints
Please call the school with complaints concerning
transportation.
Transporting
equipment
To ensure safety, students are permitted to board
the bus with their school bags and one other bag,
provided that both can be held safely on the
student's lap.
Rules for
students on the bus
To ensure the safety of all children on the bus,
children are asked to adhere to some simple rules
on the bus.
1. I stay
seated
2. I do not eat
3. I stay calm and I speak in a low voice
4. I listen to and respectful of the bus driver.
5. I do not bring inappropriate material onto the
bus.
Children not
respecting the bus rules can expect one of the
following consequences:

· Written notice to parents
· Possible suspension from bus transportation
If a child
becomes disorderly and does not behave after
being spoken to, he or she will be removed from
the bus and the parents will have to provide
transportation
Bus Safety
The school, in collaboration with the
Boucherville Police Department, gives the
students a presentation bus safety at the start
of every school year. Parents should review
behaviors that promote bus safety at home.
